About the workshop
Christos was born in Athens in 1963.
In 1981, he graduated from the Model High School “Evangeliki School” of Nea Smyrni, where he was taught the basic elements of music theory.
In 1983, he played the drums in the band “343 Kila Kreas” (343 Kilos of Meat).
In 1989, he moved to Thessaloniki, where he plays the drums with Titos Karyiotakis in the band “O.S.L.T.” and, at the same time, he worked as a sound technician in the ALPHA SOUND Sound and Light Equipment Company.
In 1990, he worked as a sound engineer at the JAM studio.
In 1993, he studied Sound Engineering at the SOUND ACADEMY HILVERSUM in the Netherlands.
From 1994 to 2002, he worked as a sound engineer and music producer at the Magnanimous studio of Y.Petzikis. During these years, he cooperated with the band “Xilina Spathia” in some of their most famous albums (“Xessaloniki”, “Pera ap tis polis tis asfaltou”, “Matia san vrochi”). He also cooperated with the band “Tripes” (“Krata to show maimou”, “Kefali yemato chrisafi”, “Apo’do kai pano”), the musicians Thanasis Papakonstantinou (“Vrachnos Profitis”, “Agrypnia”, “Thanasis Papakonstantinou and the Laikedelica”), Manolis Famellos (“Kathos mikreni I mera”, “E eftichia ine afto”), Socrates Malamas (“Ena”) and many others.
From 1994 to 1998, he worked a technical sound manager at the club “Mylos” in Thessaloniki. At the same time, he cooperated with the band “Xilina Spathia” and later with Thanasis Papakonstantinou as sound engineer for their concerts.
From 1999 to 2014, he participated in album recordings and concerts of Yannis Aggelakas, “E Episkeptes”, “E Anases ton Likon” and Yiorgos Christianakis ensemble as a musician and sound engineer.
Since 2003, he owns the “Royal Alzheimer Hall” studio with Titos Karyiotakis.
Since 2015, he has been working as a Certified Adults Instructor in the Department of Sound Engineering and Music Production at the Public Institute of Vocational Training of Epanomi.
